Curriculum
Clinical Training Structure
Clinical rotations begin in Year 4 of the MBBS program. Students rotate through all major departments including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Emergency Medicine.

Clinical Training — Common Questions
Clinical rotations begin in Year 4 of the 6-year MBBS program. Years 1–3 focus on foundational medical sciences with 3D education technology, while Years 4–6 involve hands-on clinical training at affiliate hospitals.
YGU students rotate through 6 affiliate hospitals and clinics in Yerevan, including Armenia Republican Medical Center, Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center, Erebouni Medical Center, National Center of Dermatology and Burns, Lumex Implant Clinic, and Yerevan Polyclinic No. 19.
Students rotate through all major departments: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Emergency Medicine, Dermatology, Neurology, and more.
Yes. The final year (Year 6) includes a 1-year mandatory internship with full clinical immersion, where students work under supervision across multiple departments.
Students receive supervised bedside teaching from experienced clinicians, participate in case presentations, journal clubs, and clinical conferences throughout their rotations.
