How to Apply to YGU
All applications to YGU go through fs.emis.am— Armenia's official online admission platform for international and Diaspora Armenian students. Here's how to apply, step by step.
Register on fs.emis.am
Takes about 5 minutes
Visit fs.emis.am and click "Login"
Go to the official admission platform and click the "Login" button. Don't worry — the Register option is inside the Login window.
Click "Register" and create your account
Enter your email address, create a password, and re-enter the password to confirm. All fields are mandatory. After submitting, you'll see an on-screen message — but your account is not active yet.
Check your email and click "Activate"
An activation email will be sent from the National Center of Educational Technologies. Check your Spam folder if you don't see it. Click the "Activate" button in the email — only then is your registration complete.
Log in with your credentials
Go back to fs.emis.am, click "Login", and enter the email and password you registered with. You're now ready to start your application.

Complete & Submit Your Application
Takes 30-60 minutes
Before you start, have these ready as PDF files:
- Photo of the applicant
- Passport photocopy
- Birth or baptismal certificate (Diaspora Armenians)
- Translation of graduation certificate (notarized/apostilled/consularly certified)
- Diploma certificate / insurance
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Additional documents may be required depending on your program. All files must be in PDF format.
Browse Universities or Education Programs
After logging in, the main page shows two options: "Universities" and "Education Programs". Click either to explore available institutions, specialties, and academic degrees.
Select Your Specialty & Click "Admission"
Find Yerevan Gladzor University and your desired specialty. Click on the specialty name to view details, then click the "Admission" button to start your application.
Fill In Your Details
Enter all mandatory personal and academic information. Click "Save" after completing each section — a confirmation message will appear.
Upload Required Documents
Attach your documents in the "Files" section: photo, passport photocopy, translation of graduation certificate, diploma/certificate, CV, and other required files. All uploads must be in PDF format — the system will not accept other formats.
Review & Submit
After saving all fields and files, your application appears in the "Applications" section of your personal page with its status. You can still edit or cancel it at this stage.
Click “Save” after every section — a confirmation message will appear each time. All documents must be uploaded in PDF format; the system will not accept other file types.
Track Your Application
Check back anytime from your fs.emis.am account
After submitting, your application appears in the “Applications” section of your personal page. It shows the institution, degree level, profession, and current status. From there you can:
